Busy busy bumble-bee

-Well, my computer’s been broke for a wile, but it’s better now, so I should do some posting.

I’m realy busy these days.
-There giving me longer houres and Wensday and Sunday as my days off. I don’t see why they can’t give me 2 says in a row like Saterday and Sunday, or Sunday and Monday.
-then on some wensdays I have meatings of the advisory comity but the store owner keeps reshedualing them.
-then theres the lame hospatality tracking program thay made me inchagre of, it just means I have to listen to all the complaing people, make them happy and write reports on it.
-then theres the health and safty program. More reports and paper work, and meatings. Worst part though is they tell me I’m responcable for makeing sure everyone is working safely. But when I’ve tryed to do stuff to inprive safty I get thretened. I don’t think that my wrok realy cares about safty, they just want to have someone to blame incase thiongs go wrong.
-Strangly none of these things mean I get payed more, just that I have a lot of work to do for free on my own time.

-The regular season of bible study just ended after a study of C.S. Lweis’s Mere Christanity. But our study is continuing during the summer anyway. They asked me to lead the summer program agin this year. Last time we did Proverbs, my faverote book. I’m not sure what to do this year. I’m thinking mabe watch some religous moves and discuss them and also do a few of the short books of the bible.

-I was asked to join the Tucker house board of directors. At first seemed realy pluralistic which made me not want to. But they actualy don’t seem that bad. So I’m going to join them. That means even more paper work and meatings. But at least this time it’s for something good insted of Tim Hortons. -So I decided to not take that sword handing class. No free time. Also some of my friends think they’d like to take it too at a later time. So if I wait I don’t have to be in a class full of strangers.
-I’ve been tring to start eating healther things, but it’s dificult when I’m surounded by donuts all day.
-my dad wants me to go out to the cotage some time and help do some work on it, but I just don’t have any time.

-Managed to do a bunch of cleaning around the house recently. I’m realy messy, and have a bad habit of not throwing anything out. I found some food that expired 3 years ago, old recets, paers from highschool, and piles of scraps of paper with things scribled on them that don’t make any sense. I tend to make my self memos on scraps of paper which I then lose or simply can’t read because of poor hand writing or gramer. Most are just one word long which makes them almost inposable to understand when I look at them later to try and remember what I was telling myself. Like "Cat" or "7:30" or "Plant" -plant what? Plant a tree? Go work at Nuclar plant? Water my plant? -While cleaning I also found like $60 and some expired checks I never cashed. And an old portable tetris game my mom started playing it and is adicted to, she playes it for houres, but isn’t very good.

-A few days ago a TV preachers I saw was going on about tithing. That some people insted of giving money to the church fell that just doing good things with your money insted is equaly valild. Like if you give money to a homeles persion vs. if the church dose, is there a difrence? He sugested that if you do it, it makes you feel and look good, and people will remark what a good persion you are. But if the church dose it, there is greater public recgonition of the good works of Christ. It sounded like a good argument, but at the same time smells like a power/money grab. It almost makes me want to start to tithe agin though. But dose that mean then that if you see a homeles man on the street asking for change you should hold onto the money and give it onaly at church?

  Back to School

-So there I am at work, after like 5 hours it gets slow of a few moments so I decide to go take a look at my schedual to waste some time. And aparently I wasen’t even suposed to be in. Arg!!! Well still plenty of time to go home early, and take a nap, and waste time on the computer.
I’m going to take a course at Algonquin collage on sword handing and armor smithing and sutch. This time schooling is going to be practical. Sure Socology may be fun, but you can’t use it for anything.- It’s getting to be the season for live action role playing. Yippie! The Elf Aroman has lots of work to do.

-Easter has past by, this is the first year without an egg hunt. I always used to beat my brothers at egg hunts. Easter, the religious holladay that turns the resurrection into a reason for me to knock my brothers over for candy. Like Church hill used to say "..victory at any cost..". -Once I made an omlite out of some Cadbury eggs. It tasted like a mix of chocklet and ashes. Dan Vanhartingsfled has a picture of that.....he also has a very long last name.

-I recently watched the move I.Q. it’s realy funny. Espicaly if you like physics humor. -And the move Ancror Man., that one was a big disappointment, I don’t see why all my friends like it so much, it sucks.

-Oh, and a bunch of us went to a suprise birth day party for Stu, we surprised him good because it wasen’t even his birthday. That was the first time I actualy went to Stu’s house. His place is cool. There’s a room there, a little biger than my room on kitty-murry, that was just filled with cats and kittens. There were 3-4 cats that had given birth. Proably like 12 cats total. Coolest place ever. Then next weak was a party at Mike's where I introduced some people to "The Bean Game".

-I’ve cleared out all my older posts. It’s like spring cleaning, but without all the dust and work.

-My friends and I have been using the church kitchen to make brunch after the service insted of going out places. Last weak was my turn, I asked people who all was going to show up and everyone said they would. So I bought like $50 worth of stuff, luged a bunch of food, pans, toasters and stuff to the church, got it all set up and then onaly 2 people showed up. I was rather anoyed. But at least now I better understand that biblical parable about that guy who held the feast and nobody showed up.

-My work has a medical plan that I applied for like 6 months ago, it takes them redicusaly long to process applications. I had to fill in all these formes, then were some medical tests. And after all this waiting they finaly sent me a letter saying that my aplication has been rejected. Rejected? What? Apparently I’m the onaly persion at my work that’s ever been rejected. What could possibly be wrong with me that they would reject my application? They won’t even tell me. I have to fill out a form, send it to them, then they send the information to my doctor, then I make an apointment with my doctor, Then I’ll find out. -I hope there’s noting seriously wrong with me, but after all this hassle if it turns out to be something like I diden’t proaperaly fill out a form I’d be even more annoyed.

-I’m realy sick of my job. Finaly next moth I have a weak off. It’s my first vacation since I started like a year and a half ago. I’m just going to sleep for a weak.  ¶ 10:06 PM |

  I’m so lazy

So aparently its been like 3 months since I posted last. Spending way too much time playing stupid video games. Big waste of time. Time to get to work.

At work they decided to finally get around to following provincial laws for health and safty so I got a new job. Well, actual same job but with adtional responcablites. Now I’m incharge of health and safty for my store. I get to waste time doing safty inspections and sutch. Aparently now I can even write people up for safty violations, even my boss, or even tell them to close the store under certian criteria. But I have to do all this take home work to learn stuff to become officaly certified, but they just gave me all these books and videos and told me to just keep track of how long it takes me and then they’d pay me for however long it took. Pay me to watch videos and learn....if onaly university was like that. Then mabe I’d have not droped out.

This extra money and the money I just got from a friend paying me back money I had lent out to help buy a car has led to me having too mutch money, so I’ve been rather waste full with it. Spend, spend, spend. Then like 2 days later I realize diden’t nead any of that stuff. Insted of taking the buss I just pay $20 for a cab. I shoulden’t be incharge of my own money.
John Den Bore has recently started going to bible study with stu and I. Well actual at the moment it’s realy more of a C.S. Lewis study than a bible study.

Just got and e-mail from Dillion, he sounds like he’s enjoying studying in Africa. It’s toasty warm over there now...stupid cold Canada. I’m so sick of snow, I want to go biking.

I’ve been offred a volenter postion as a member of the board of directors at a charitable organization. It’s this sort faith/enviroment thing. But I’m not entiarly sure that I agree with them on some isues. I think they might be a bit pluralistic. So I’m not sure if I’ll do it.

I need to start getting to church more. I go to bible study, but Sunday morning I realy like sleeping in. I usually manage to watch one of those t.v. church programs like I’m doing right now. But it’s just no substue for the real thing. And I miss going out for brunch with the others too. But sleeping and not takeing Sunday busses in the cold are still wining.

Well anyway that’s all the blog I’ve got in me for now. Hopefully I’ll post agin before another 3 months some how slip by.  ¶ 1:23 PM |

  The first rule of Knit Club is that you don’t talk about the Knit Club. The second rule of Kit Club is that if this is you’r first time at nit club you must nit a scarf.

-Dang, looks like I just broke a rule, they’ll take my needles for that......
-I recently finished work on my scarf that I started like a year ago. It’s 7feat long and 22inches wide. But I plan to make 2 more the same size that then connect them using buttons. That’s how I got invited to the previously mentoned "nit club". -Niting is funn and all, but I still think that sowing is way more useful though. I think that I’ve almost got Stu convinced of the value of sowing, we made some mittens during bible study recently.

-I just stayed up to till about 3:00 am watching a new Godzilla move "Godzilla Final Wars". It had almost every monster back for a rematch against Godzilla and Mothra as they try to protect the earth from aliens. It’s a great move....provided you like that kind of movie. I also bought a move called "Franken fish" for like 2 bucks, I haven’t seen it yet but it looks like one those moves that is fun to laugh at and make fun of the plot. And that new potter move, realy good. Enough about moves though.

-The person who ran the advisory comity at work just left for another better job, so now the other store representives and I will be working directly with Joey the boss/stores owner. I’m going to try and talk him into building a large hottub at my store. It won’t work, but I’ll try anyway. -I’ve got so much time off around the holidays, it’s great. -too bad work isn’t like school, where if there is a lot of snow it gets canceled and you stay home.
It’s almost Christmas, and then new years. Time for the traditional party at Rob Joustra’s farm. Lots of Olibolen(a Dutch food), old friends, and a heated indoor swimming pool. Now that’s a good holiday tradition.

  Don’t you wish you were a cat?

-cat’s have all the advantages, and I don’t just mean their retractable claws. They sleep all day, don’t have to do any work, if they get hungry they jsut meow untill someone feeds them, if they want a back rub they just jump ontop of someone and star purring, if they’re bored they just attack a houseplant or some ones foot, and you can’t even get mad at them because they are too darn cute. I wish I was a cat.

-so to answer the tesseract puzzle from last post, a tesseract is a 4 demeontinal cube, or "hypercube". Heres how they work. Take 6 squar pices of paper arrange them in the shape of a lowercase "t", now if you were to fold those squars up you could make cube, thus you have a 2D representation of a 3D object. So if you were to place 6 cubes in a similar position you would have 3D representation of a 4D object. Square-cube-tesseract see? Cool eh? -For more info go here.

-at work the other day for some reasion people were talking about blankets, one of the girls was going on a bout some new expensive fancy down blanket. So I brought up the really cool blanket that I have. I’ve got this one that’s got robots on it, and has buttons on it so that it can change into a sleeping bag, or a housecoat....they all gave me these weird looks. I still think it’s really cool though, way cooler than some overpriced bird filled blanket.

-the new potter move should be out soon, it looks realy cool. And speaking of cool media stuff, Now that I got my "Joan of Arcadia" dvd’s back from Mike I’ve been re-watching them, that show is so good. It’s a little pluralistic, but still good.  ¶ 9:24 PM |

  -So the Zombie walk was a failure. We found out that aparently some other people had done a better organized one just a few days before us, so we decided not to do it. Such a let down, we were all excited about walking around like Zombies. Next year we’ll join them.

-Mike had a halloween party, but almost no one wore a coustume. Which is realy weird since most of us are LARP-ers (L.A.R.P.: Live Action Role Playing, meaning dressing up like Elves and Orcs and beating each other up with safe swords). -I went as the Crow, I’ll add a picture once one becomes available. Eric was Arthur Dent, Kathryan was Medusa and wore one of her pet snakes as a costume piece, and Kristina was someone impaled by a unicorn. -Know one knew who the Crow was, very disappointing.
-I thought about going as a tesseract, but I’m glad I diden’t. Aparently everyone I mention them to dosen’t even know what they are. If anyone dose know what they are (without looking them up on the net) reply the answer and you win. You don’t win a prize, but you still win. I’ll post the answer in a wile if on one knows. Hint, think theoretical physics.

-It’s fall, and the gooses are migrating. That got me thinking, what to wild cats do for the winter? I don’t think that they find caves and hibernate, and they sure don’t build houses to keep warm, then I figured it out. What they do is climb up trees, waiting for some migrating gooses to pass by, then they pounce, geting the goose to cary them south to warmer climates. Of course they need to hop from goos to goos frequently so that it dosen’t get too tired to cary the extra weight. Then when the gooses stop somewhere to rest and eat, so do the cats...on the more tired gooses. And that is what cats do for the winter. Except for my cat who just keeps warm sleeping all day by the heater and steals the cream cheese from my bagels.

-I’m ever so close to ascending in KOL. It’s difficult to win as an Accordion Thief, I think I’ll become a Turtle Tamer after ascending. If you’re someone who is bored and want to play a fun, silly, free game on the net try "the Kingdom Of Loathing". It’s fun, if you want a clan to join ours has lots of resources to offer. -I just got the directors cut of Donie Darko, and the new Star Wars. Both are rather disappointing. Just stick with the ordinals people.

  A NEW Blog: (after more than a year).

So I remember someone asking me "Are you going to keep bloging after Redeemer?" -"Of course I will!" said I.
-Looks like I lied.

-Haven’t realy doene anyting for like a year. -looks like all my replyes got deleated by what ever teck people controle those things. -I’m sorta surprized that the site is even still here. -I wonder how maney people’s blogs are still alive from those old days. -I wounder where everyone went.

-To updated my prevous blog from over a year ago; Josh is now happly Maried, has 2 cats, and is a cop. -Beaing at his weding was fun. I was handcufed, shot a gun, and was given a knife with my name ingraved in it. -Shoting the gun scared the crap out of me though, I got a good score hiting the clay things, but I kept thinking I was going to acdently shot off my foot or something. -I geuss I’ll never hunt a Tofurky.

-Tanksgivening was fun, except for having to work, breaking my tooth, and my brother being in Texas, but the other one was in town. -The realy good holaday of October will be soon though, Halloween. -I can finaly where my cloke around without being thought weird. -My frends and I will be walking downtown the Saturday before dresed as Zombies. Partly to try and rase money for charity...but also just to walk around in a large mass pretending to be Zombies...if anyone wants to join the undead masses the more the better. -Were going to bring make up with us to try and turn people we run into on the streats into Zombies too.

-I supose theres a tone of things I could go on about, it’s been like year since I posted, but best to save more for some other time. -That is asumeing that I get around to posting agin....I am ever so lazy.....perhaps in a year, perhaps in a few days. Perhaps using a spellchecker , definatly not.

-For now, I’m going to look and see what people’s links still lead working sites. And perhaps revize that other site too.
